Business activities range from home deliveries through to major long distance heavy haulage projects, along with other daily operations in the SEQ region and elsewhere.

The Role
This is an all-round HR role where you will be involved in Key duties include:
- Monitoring, interpretation and ensuring correct application of regulations, Enterprise Agreements and awards
- Provide support and direction to management team
- Maintain Drug and Alcohol program across the business including corrective actions for non-compliance
- End-to-end workers compensations and claims reporting and management
- New starter and onboarding documentation and processes
- Weekly payroll processing, inc. cross checks and reconciliation, including adjustments, changes and corrections when required
- HR general letters including amendments, warning and corrective actions
- Participate in the development and evolution of the employee experience to improve retention and positive onboarding experience including surveys
- Complaint handling including investigations and corrective actions
- Recruitment support
- Provide support on employee initiatives, functions and communication (including newsletters and toolbox information)
- Document control and record maintenance
You
- Ideally you’ll already be familiar with most of these functions, and be able to pick up on those you are less familiar with quite quickly. These include:
- Well developed HR skills and experience including complaint handling, investigations and corrective actions
- Experience working with Awards and Enterprise Agreements within the Fair Work and NES frameworks
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work standards and ability to interpret legislation and regulations
- Experience with Workers compensation processes.
- Experience with handling Incident/Accidents claims management (preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Great Microsoft skills (inc. word, excel and practical data analysis know-how)
